The pace of new flu reports across Pennsylvania eased off a bit last week, but Indiana County’s rate continued to speed up.
There were 100 new lab-confirmed flu cases in Indiana County last week, bringing the total for the entire flu season to 211. Jefferson County had 45 new cases last week and stands at 121 for the season. Clearfield County increased by 65, to 167.
Four more people died from flu-related causes. So far since the first week of October, there have been 13 flu deaths across Pennsylvania.
