Pennsylvania State Police were kept busy statewide over the New Year’s holiday period.
Once again troopers stepped up patrols from December 31st through January 2nd. During that time, officers investigated 460 crashes, including 87 with injuries and one involving a fatality.
Troopers also made 279 arrests for driving under the influence and issued more than 6,400 tickets for speeding and 476 for failing to buckle up
