The fire on Sunday night in North Mahoning Township is under investigation.
Indiana County 911 reported the fire was called in at 11:30. Marion Center, Perry Township and Rossiter fire departments were called out along with Citizen’s Ambulance and State Police. Marion Center fire department confirmed that the fire was at the intersection of Bratton and Locust Lanes, and it was a single-wide trailer with a 10 by 10 addition to the front that caught fire.
Both of the occupants were able to get out safely, but eight dogs and two cats passed away in the fire. The home is a complete loss, mainly due to smoke and water damage.
