The cause of a fire in Huston Township of Clearfield County remains undetermined.
Chief Ray Himes of the Pennfield Fire Department requested assistance from a PA State Police Fire Marshal in determining the origin and cause of a fire on December 26th that destroyed a $500,000 garage belonging to 39 year old Ryan McCandless of DuBois. The fire originated in the area of an oil furnace, but the cause was not determined.
No one was injured; however, four dogs perished. The garage was used as storage for vehicles, boats and campers.
