A man from Brookville was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in the borough of Brookville.
The incident happened on December 15th around 3 in the morning when workers at a convenience store on West main Street call the police to report a 29 year old customer was swaying while standing in line. Officers arrived and say the man had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath and an open container of beer in his car.
After failing a field sobriety test, he was taken to Brookville Hospital for a blood draw which he refused.

Authorities are looking for information into a burglary that happened at a residence on Copenhaver Road in Washington Township of Jefferson County.
On December 18th around 6:30 pm, a 51 year old man from Falls Creek reported a burglary where a $1,000 flat screen and a $1,500 water dispenser were stolen.

The Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney found around $1,000 in property and they are looking for the owner.
On December 21 around 10:30 pm a damaged black toolbox with various tools was found along Route 36 near its intersection with Tipple Road in Gaskill Township of Jefferson County. Two items had identifiable markings of “Jason” and “JW” on them.

There was a rollover crash on Route 28 in Mahoning Township of Armstrong County yesterday afternoon.
According to WTAJ News, emergency crews were on the scene around two where a tractor trailer and a PennDOT crew cab were involved in the accident. Few details were reported but one lane on Route 28 was closed for a while.
