At last night’s Punxsutawney Borough Council meeting, Manager Toby Santik cited the December 5th publication of The Punxsutawney Spirit with a photo of borough police officer Pat Renwick who was given commendation from the School District for saving a young man by performing the Heimlich maneuver.
Santik said when Dr. Lesniewski shook Renwick’s hand, people responded with a standing ovation.
Borough office will close at noon on Christmas eve and reopen December 26th.
