Last week there was a two-vehicle accident in Eldred Township of Jefferson County sending one to a hospital.
On December 6th around 2:30 pm, 51 year old Deborah Crothers of McDonald, PA, was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Route 36 and 949. Police say a tractor trailer driven by 80 year old Robert McGarvey of Fallentimber was traveling south on 36 when Crothers turned into his path and collided with the truck.
Crothers was transported to Penn Highlands Dubois fro treatment and charged with failing to obey the stop sign.
