Pennsylvania State Police are saying that the Blair County woman and her kids that were reported missing and in the company of her father-in-law were found this morning in White Township.
Troopers now say that Alicia Brumbaugh and her two kids, one-year-old Maverick and two-year-old Aleah, were found safe in a vehicle along with 56-year-old Edgar Decker, Jr. of Roaring Spring at 10:45 this morning during a traffic stop at the intersection of Routes 422 and 286 in White Township. Brumbaugh and her two children were last seen at their home in Imler, Blair County, around 4:00 yesterday morning. A relative called State Police in Indiana County around 11:28 PM last night saying that the four were near the White Township Walmart, but police could not find them when they searched of the complex, and they did not show up on video surveillance.
Troopers say that at 10:25 this morning, Indiana County 911 received a tip from a motorist that said they saw Decker’s truck going East on 422 in Armstrong Township. One minute later, troopers found the vehicle on 422 nearing the interchange with 286, and were able to pull the vehicle over.
Decker was taken into custody without incident on an arrest warrant on a felony charge of theft that dates back to June of 2018 in Bedford County. It’s unknown at this time if additional charges will be filed against Decker, as state police are continuing their investigation.
