According to Triple-A East Central, Jefferson County has the lowest price average for a gallon of gasoline.
The average cost in Jefferson is $2.74 a gallon. Clearfield County is averaging at $2.80, while Indiana and Clarion Counties are on the higher end of gasoline prices at $2.84.
The statewide average is $2.72 a gallon, which is three cents lower than where it was last week at this time.
The national average stands at $2.61 per gallon.
