The Pennsylvania State Police Troop A Indiana Criminal Investigation Unit, with the Indiana County Coroner’s Office, are investigating the death of a newborn boy in Creekside.
On Wednesday around 11 pm, Pennsylvania State Police were notified of the death of a newborn at a residence along Arch Street. Investigators interviewed the child’s mother and learned that the child was born prematurely at the mother’s residence that evening.
Troopers also seized various items of drug paraphernalia from the residence.
This investigation is ongoing and additional information will be released as appropriate.
