A former candidate for Jefferson County sheriff and constable has been held for trial, and according to The Indiana Gazette, he is free on $30,000 unsecured bond following a hearing on Wednesday.
The published report says 56 year old Paul Pape of Punxsutawney is charged with indecent assault, official oppression and obstruction of the administration. The state Attorney General’s office says he attempted to coerce a woman to have sex with him to avoid arrest and they believe there may be other victims, who can call 833 937 1036.
