A 14 year old Marion Center Junior/Senior High School student faces charges of terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct following threatening Snapchat post.
The Pennsylvania State Police in Indiana say on November 2, around 8:00 PM, the student posted intent to bring guns to school and shoot fellow students.
According to authorities, the student will be charged via a written allegation to be filed with the Indiana County Juvenile Probation Department.
Yesterday morning around 8:00 Marion Center Area School District was notified of a threatening message posted to social media. Following an investigation troopers determined that he does not have access to weapons. Armstrong-Indiana Crisis was notified and also responded to Marion Center Area School District to assist with the investigation.
At this time, troopers have determined that there is no credible threat to Marion Center Area School District students, faculty, or staff. Pennsylvania State Police in Indiana thank the student who reported this incident to school administration as well as Marion Center Area School District for their assistance.
