Yesterday morning around 1:30 several items were reported stolen from a pickup truck in Jefferson County.
Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois report the theft of construction tools from a truck belonging to a 59 year old man on Hill Street in Sykesville. An unknown truck was spotted in the area around the time of the theft.

The name of the person involved in the hit and run on I 80 last week was released.
The accident happened on Halloween around 11:30 in the the morning, when 31 year old Fuad Ali of Lewis Center, Ohio was driving on I 80 West when his freight liner was hit by another tractor trailer merging into the single lane near the DuBois Penfield exit. Police say 60 year old Richard Gallerani fled the scene and no other information was released.

The Pennsylvania State Police in Marienville Troop C released their stats for October.
They had 476 incidents reported with 38 criminal offenses. Twenty-two people were arrested last month and they investigated 22 crashes with 3 hit and runs 17 people were injured and one fatality. Pennsylvania State Police in Marienville made six driving under the influence arrests, issued 218 traffic citations and gave 155 warnings.
