There was a single-vehicle accident in Brady Township of Clearfield County last evening.
The crash happened around 5:30 when 74 year old Albert Haag of Grampian was traveling south on State Route 219 on Coal Hill Road and according to Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois he veered off the roadway, hit an embankment and overturned.
Haag and his passenger, 75 year old Luraye Haag, also of Grampian, had their seat belts on and were transported to Penn Highlands for treatment of minor injuries. DuSan, Brady Township Ambulance and Brady Township VFD assisted at the crash site. Haag was charged for not driving at a safe speed.
