The Pennsylvania State Police Clarion Crime Unit is investigating a report referred by UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Investigators say on October 18th between 9 and 9:30 in the morning UPMC treated a two-year old boy from Beaver Township for a fractured femur. Due to circumstances surrounding the injury, hospital staff reported the visit to Childline.
The investigation is listed as ongoing.

The Pennsylvania State Police are looking for information into a report of a stolen chainsaw in Green Township of Indiana County.
Authorities say between October 14th and the 23rd a chainsaw was taken from the porch of 50 year old Linda Griffith of Dixonville.

Clymer police reportedly arrested of a man after a disturbance Sunday night at a home in the borough.
During the investigation, drug paraphernalia was located inside the home, and the man and a woman were both subsequently charged with possession.

Clymer Borough Police have charged a Clymer man with misdemeanor theft by deception for passing a counterfeit $20 bill at a gas station along Route 286.
Police say that shortly before 6 PM on Wednesday, they were summoned to the store after a man had tried to pay for his merchandise using the phony money. The clerk had refused to accept the bill and he had taken it and left. The night before, police say, the same man had successfully passed another fake $20 bill, which was not noticed until the money in the drawer was counted later that night.
Using surveillance video, police were able to identify the suspect as 40-year-old Robert Ryan Packer
