The Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney have identified a person of interest in connection with a financial theft investigation.
The Pennsylvania State Police, in conjunction with the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office, have been engaged in an active investigation involving the Big Run War Memorial Fund in the Borough of Big Run in Jefferson County.
The investigation is ongoing and further details will be released in the future.
Earlier on Wednesday, a story was posted indicated that an arrest had been made, but that was incorrect.
