Yesterday morning a man from Clearfield County had minor injuries from an accidental shooting.
Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney responded to the scene on Main Street in Mahaffey around 11:30, where 32 year old Mark McCulley was cleaning his gun and accidentally shot himself in the left leg just below the knee with a 9 mm pistol.
Mahaffey EMS assisted on the scene and transported him to Altoona Area Hospital for treatment of his wound.
