There was a single-vehicle accident in Beaver Township of Clarion County leaving the passenger with injuries.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police in Clarion, the accident occurred on Saturday around 4 pm when 71 year old Frank Perry of Pittsburgh was traveling West on I-80 and lost control while going around a curve near mile marker 57 between the Knox and Shippenville Exits.
Authorities say Perry traveled about 350 feet downhill across a median after leaving the roadway and hit a tree, causing the SUV to overturn on to its side.
His passenger, who is also from Pittsburgh, 71 year old Claire Perry, had suspected minor injuries and was treated by Knox Area Ambulance. Frank Perry was cited for the crash.
