Charges have been filed against a woman from Knox for an incident that happened last week in Beaver Township of Clarion County.
Pennsylvania State Police in Clarion say they responded to an active domestic incident between family members on Grace Road on October 5th around 4 pm. According to police, 56 year old Laura Texter of Knox engaged in a physical argument with a 60 year old woman, a 21 year old man and a 20 year old woman who are also from Knox and a 20 year old woman from Hawthorn.
Texter is accused of punching, kicking and biting them and assaulting them with knife. She is also accused of assaulting an officer while they were placing her under arrest.
Charges of simple assault, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and resisting arrest/other law enforcement were filed through the District Court. Bail is set at $75,000 with a preliminary hearing on October 15th in front of Magisterial District Judge Turk presiding.
