Brookville Borough Police responded to a report of a possible drunk driver in Jefferson County.
On Friday, October 5th around 7 pm on State Route 36 officers located the vehicle leaving a convince store parking lot. When troopers followed the car, they noticed numerous traffic violations and conducted a traffic stop. Through their investigation they found the unnamed driver was driving under the influence and he was arrested for DUI, but refused a blood draw, which violates the implied consent law.
Charges are filed for DUI and traffic-related offenses through District Judge Bazylak’s office.
