A couple of vehicles bumped bumpers in an accident that happened yesterday in Clarion Township.
About quarter after noon on the 28th Division Highway at its intersection with Old US 322, 18 year old Kalista Hale of Oil City was heading west and noticed a stopped vehicle a bit too late. Hale attempted to avoid colliding with the car and slammed her breaks and hit the rear bumper of the car in front of her.
She and the other driver, 23 year old Daniel Crockett of Franklin, were not injured; however, Hale was charged for not driving at a safe speed.
