Wednesday night the Brookville Borough Police were called to a truck stop for a woman who was reported to have fallen asleep on a picnic table.
Officers investigated the incident around 11:30 pm on September 25th in a parking lot of a truck stop in Brookville of Jefferson County, where it was reported a woman fell asleep outside on a picnic table with an open container of beer. When police told her is was illegal to drink alcohol in public, she allegedly went into the store of the truck stop and was yelling and screaming.
After numerous warnings by the police to stop, she failed to comply and was arrested for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. The unnamed woman was taken to the Jefferson County Jail and is awaiting arraignment.
