A distracted driver who crashed his vehicle on Monday in Jenks Township of Forest County had outstanding warrants.
Authorities say on September 23rd, around 8 am, 25 year old Chevy Haskins of Albion was traveling south on State Route 66 toward its intersection with Smokey Lane, when he was allegedly distracted by his cell phone, and lost control of his vehicle and hit a ditch.
According to Pennsylvania State Police in Marienville, Haskins was in possession of a controlled substance, as well as drug paraphernalia, driving on a controlled substance, and, following an NCIC check, he had multiple outstanding warrants.
Haskins was arrested for suspicion of DUI and taken to the Clarion County Jail on a parole detainer.
