If you write a bad check and avoid making good on it here’s what happens.
Last week on the 29th, Brookville Borough Police received a check that was returned to an insurance agency in Jefferson County for not having sufficient funds. The business manager attempted to contact the person numerous times in order to have the check paid, but had no success.
Due to the circumstances, charges are being filed through the District Magistrate Bazylak’s Office for bad checks. The name of the person was not in the report.

Pennsylvania State Police in Indiana have released a report of a theft that happened last month and they are looking for information.
On August 23rd close to 11 pm someone drove a white two door sedan to the back of an outbuilding on a farm on Blossom Hollow Road in Green Township of Indiana County and entered the office and removed a $100 black lap top and three 30 ML vials of Cytorelin (which is a hormone for cattle) valued over a hundred dollars.

Police in Clymer are encouraging residence to lock vehicle doors and report suspicious activity.
On Tuesday just after 10 pm, Clymer Borough Police were dispatched to the 800 Block of First Street after they received a report of a break-in of a truck. The unnamed owner of the truck said it was unlocked and someone had broken into it and ransacked it in his driveway. He told officers that several company credit cards were missing.
Police say there was no sigh of force used to enter the vehicle.
