A deer caused a single vehicle accident on I 80 East last Saturday morning in Clarion Township.
Pennsylvania State Police say the crash occurred just before 6:30 as 33 year old Sumit Kumar of Waukesha, Wisconsin was between the Clarion New Bethlehem Exit and the Strattanville Exits when a deer jumped in front of him. Kumar hit the deer head-on, causing the air bags to deploy.
No injuries were reported. He and his passenger, Jayanti Roy, also of Waukesha, Wisconsin, were wearing their seat belts and no charges were filed.
