We have an update on a rollover crash that happened on August 19, in Snyder Township of Jefferson County that sent a juvenile to a hospital by STAT MedEvac and three other people by ambulance.
ExploreJeffersonPA.com reports the incident happened on August 19 around 1:35 pm a car driven by a 16 year old from Brockway was stopped at a stop sign at the Westville Road and 219 intersection; however, the driver went onto 219 without clearance. That’s when, according to the published report, a tractor trailer driven by 33 year old Laumarie Ojeda from Allentown was on 219 and tried to avoid a collision but collided with the driver side of the car, causing it to rollover.
The juvenile driver was flown to UPMC Altoona. Her passengers, a 17 year old and a 5 year old, both females from Brockway, as well as the truck driver, who had minor injuries, were taken by DuBois EMS Ambulance Service to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment.
The driver was charged for a stop sign violation.
