Yesterday at the Reynoldsville Borough Council meeting, the big topic was “what to do about the police station,” and several people showed up.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, the current police station is on the second floor of the Municipal Building with no elevator. The published report says residents offered suggestions, including buying the old bank building on East Main Street where the the borough offices could be upstairs with the police station on the first floor.
Council President T.J. Sliwinski said they will look into the cost of the bank building.
