A man from Clarion who is accused of child rape is in jail.
ExploreClarion.com reports 34 year old Daniel Ray Droddy was charged on Monday with rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, plus five other related charges, for an incident that involved a 12 year old girl.
According to the published report, between October of 2017 and December of 2018, Droddy solicited the victim via Facebook and Instagram, requesting inappropriate photos, which lead to Droddy allegedly admitting to having intercourse with the child.
Unable to post $75,000.00 monetary bail, Droddy is in Clarion County Jail, with the preliminary hearing set for September 10 with Judge Miller presiding.
