The woman from Punxsutawney who allegedly gave the Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois a false name is now facing charges.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, charges of false report, false identification to law enforcement officer plus five other charges have been filed against, 23 year old Jayden Rachelle Welder.
As we reported earlier this month, the charges stem from an incident on August 1 when according to the Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois, Welder was pulled over for speeding on I 80 East between the DuBois Regional Airport Exit and the DuBois Brockway Exit in Washington Township of Jefferson County. Authorities say she gave information that was not in the system and she was identified by fingerprinting at the DuBois Pennsylvania State Police station.
The published report says Welder has a preliminary hearing set for September 25, with Judge Inzana presiding.
