A bee was partially the cause of a single accident that happened yesterday in Barnett Township of Jefferson County.
Pennsylvania State Police in Marienville say around 1 pm a tractor trailer was traveling southbound on Route 36 near Songer Road going towards Sigel when the unnamed driver became distracted by a bee that came in through the driver’s side window and into his clothing. While attempting to decelerate and remove the bee the driver drifted towards the west side of the roadway, crossed the fog line and hit a utility pole.
No other information was reported.
