We have a little more information about the unoccupied camp in Valier that was completely destroyed in a fire that broke out Tuesday morning …
Indiana County 911 initially reported the fire at 11:10. Firefighters from Perry Township, Plumville, Marion Center, Lindsey Fire company from Punxsutawney, and Ringgold were all called to the scene. According to Augie Bernabei of the Plumville Fire Department, the building was a hunting camp and was a complete loss. The building did not have regular electricity running to it, as it ran off of a generator. No one was injured. There’s no word yet on the cause of the fire, but fire marshals were sent to investigate, and they believe the fire to be incendiary in nature.
