On Tuesday there was a two-vehicle accident in Paint Township, sending both drivers to the hospital.
The Pennsylvania State Police in Clarion report the crash happened just before noon on the 28th Division Highway, west of Woodland Road, when 42 year old Paula Blum of Strattanville was traveling east on Route 322 and slowed to make a stop because another car was turning left. According to police, that’s when 18 year old Alex Hohman of Brookville came in from behind and hit Blum’s pickup truck.
Both were wearing seat belts, but they had unknown injuries and were transported to Clarion Hospital for treatment. Hohman was charged for not driving at a safe speed.
