It’s three cents cheaper this week at $2.92 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report. Average price last week $2.95, whereas, Average price during the week of August 6, last year $3.10. The average price of unleaded self-serve gasoline in Punxsutawney $2.97.
The highest in the area is Brookville at $3.04 followed by Indiana and Clarion around $3.00 per gallon. The lowest price for gasoline in the area is DuBois $2.79 per gallon. The national price stands at $2.70.
