State police say 25-year-old Justin Matava of Seward tried to pass a vehicle illegally on a double-yellow line and lost control of his Kawasaki, traveling off the road and striking three trees. Matava was wearing a helmet.
He was taken by Citizens Ambulance to the Indiana Regional Medical Center with suspected minor injuries.
