A suspicious package at the Punxsutawney State Police Barracks caused the roads in the area to be closed…
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit the package was in the front lawn of the PSP Station and roads to North Findley were shut down as well as all the roads leading to the Punxsutawney Area High School with all three Punxsy VFD on scene assisting with closing the roads.
The published report cites scanner chatter that indicated PSP had the Bomb Squad on the scene and they removed the suspicious item before opening all of the roads.
