According to Triple-A East Central, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Jefferson County is at $2.98 a gallon. Indiana County is $2.97. That remains eight cents above the statewide average of $2.89 a gallon. The other neighboring county has the cheapest gas price: Clearfield, with $2.93 a gallon. The national average price for gallon of gasoline stands at $2.74.
