Tailgating can lead to accidents and fines….
That’s what happened to 22 year old Casandra Hunter of Indiana on Sunday. PSP in Marienville say Hunter was traveling South on State Route 36 near Cathers Run Road in Barnett Township when she slammed her breaks to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of her.
Officers say Hunter started to slide so she turned into the oncoming travel lane and hit an embankment on the east side of the roadway. Hunter was wearing her seat belt and not injured., but her car had to be towed from the scene and she was charged for following too closely.
