A fallen tree in Beaver Township of Jefferson County was the cause of an accident…
The crash occurred on state route 3005 on Pansy Ring-gold Road, north of Ohl Road, when 27 year old Jacob Barr of Summerville was driving west and unable to avoid the downed tree on the roadway covering both lanes.
PSP in Punxsutawney say Barr traveled over the tree and continued on for about 120 feet from the impact, before coming to a final rest.
Barr was not injured in the crash and he was not charged.
