There was a single-vehicle collision that happened on Friday in Jefferson County.
According to police, 22 year old Ryan Lucas of Brookville was traveling south on SR 1830 near Diamond Lane in Pine Creek Township, when he fell asleep and drove off the roadway through about 74 yards of grass, hit a tree and continued on 10 more yards breaking a a utility pole in half before coming to a final rest laying on its passenger side.
Lucas was wearing his seat belt and had minor injuries and he was not charged.
