According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, a petition was presented by the residents requesting the speed limit on Airport Road be reduced to 35 miles per hour between route 119 and Clawson Street. Supervisor chair Jeff Kromer said there’s no guarantee that will happen.
The published report also says water drainage was another issue with Airport road as some areas have multiple-feet deep water and posses a danger to children in the area.
The next meeting is Thursday August 8 at 7pm.
