The Pennsylvania state police in Punxsutawney report the crash occurred on main street, North of Oak Street in McCalmont Township on July 2, just before 7 in the morning, when 19 year old Kyle Crise of Rural Valley was driving North and fell asleep. Crise’s vehicle traveled off the right shoulder and hit a utility pole before hitting a residence and coming to a stop.
He was wearing a seat belt and was not injured but he was charged with careless driving.
