A deer on the roadway in Harmony Township in Forest County was the cause of a car accident.
According to a police report from the Pennsylvania State Police in Marienville, 22 year old Katharine Gannon of Saxonburg was driving south on route 36 near Dory Carson Road when she hit a deer that was crossing the highway.
The impact caused minor injuries to Gannon from the broken glass of her windshield, and she refused medical treatment. Her car was disabled and had to be towed from the scene.
She was not charged or cited.
