The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry said in its news release yesterday that Clearfield and Indiana Counties unemployment rate is in a six-way tie for 45th in the state.
The two counties tie for the highest in the area at 4.6 percent. Jefferson County’s unemployment rate is the lowest in the region at 4.3 percent. The total number of non-farm jobs in Indiana county went unchanged over the month at 32,500. Jobs went up by 300 through the last 12 months.
