On Monday night the Center Township supervisors focused on mine reclamation and seal coating preparation. The supervisors approved signing a resolution to reauthorize the abandoned mine reclamation fund. Supervisors Chairman Dave “Butch” Smyers said that the resolution would be beneficial to the township should and it be allowed to continue. The Township is also getting ready for some seal coating prep work on several township roads and some milling on Smith Road. Paving and seal coating will reportedly take place next month.
