State police in Marienville responded to a report of an assault in Washington Township last Thursday at 10:30 in the morning, authorities arrived to the scene on Lake Lucy Road where an altercation between 24 year old Derek Overly of Boyers and a 22 year old women who’s name is being withheld.
Investigators say the two had a verbal argument that turned physical when the 22 year old allegedly had minor but visible injuries. Based on Pennsylvania Domestic Violence Laws, Overlay was taken into custody and arraigned before MDJ Schill with bail set at $2500 unsecured.
The investigation continues.
