With warmer weather and summer vacation its time to hit the swimming pools.
The George C. Brown Pool In Punxsutawney is open Monday through Sunday, noon to 6, but on Wednesday it’s open until 8. The DuBois City Pool is open seven days a week from noon until 7 in the evening.
During the off season some renovations were made, including a new surface on the bottom of the pool, a handicapped accessible chairlift, and repairs to the slide, and the new feature is a rock climbing wall.
The public pool in Clarion is open every day from noon to 6 pm.
Lastly, the Mack Park Swimming Pool in Indiana is open Monday through Friday from 11 to 7 and on the weekends from 12 to 6 pm.
