A woman from Corsica who is accused of making false reports to police is behind bars.
According to ExploreClarion.com, 39 year old Alyssa Danielle Huffman allegedly reported to police her 5 year old son was abducted by her neighbor this past Sunday around 5 pm on Church Street Extension in Corsica.
The published reports says Huffman’s mother told police the boy was with his father in Brookville. After the location and safety of the child were confirmed, authorities filed charges of false reports, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness against Huffman, who is now in the Jefferson County Jail with the preliminary hearing set for July 25 with Judge Bazylak presiding.
