State Police are looking into an incident where someone was scammed out of their tax return.
The first incident was reported April 4th after someone used the personal information of a 52-year-old Young Township woman to fraudulently file a tax return.

Another scam was reported, this time on June 5th in White Township. State Police say the scammer sent an email to the victim, a 52-year-old woman from White Township. She believed that the person emailing her was her supervisor and ordered her to purchase a Google gift card worth $500 and send it to them that day.
