The Indiana County Chamber of Commerce held its annual celebration of the county’s business leaders last night, with the induction of six new members into the Business Hall of Fame.
One of the six was Renda Broadcasting’s own Tony Renda, whose long career in broadcasting has included extensive holdings in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Oklahoma. An Indiana native, Renda served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He embarked on a broadcasting career as a part-time announcer at WDAD in his hometown of Indiana, and soon focused on the sales and business aspect of the industry, purchasing his first radio station in the 1960s.
Today, he owns 18 radio stations in Pennsylvania and Florida. Renda Broadcasting salutes all of the 2019 Indiana County Business Hall of Fame inductees.
Congratulations, Tony Renda from your hometown radio stations, WPXZ, KOOL 103 and FOX SPORTS Punxsy.
