Last Friday a man damaged a mailbox with his car and left the scene.
State Police in Punxsutawney say on May 24 at noon, 72 year old Kennith Minick of Summerville was driving north on Cemetery Road when he attempted to back up onto Kemp Lane in Clover Township to turn around. That’s when Minick allegedly hit a mailbox, assessed the damage and drove off; however there was a witness who took a pic of his registration plate, leading police to his residence for questioning.
Minick admitted his actions and was cited for the crash.
